Zazpiak Bat Dancers

The Zazpiak Bat Dancers are based in the San Francisco Bay Area and rehearse at the San Francisco Basque Cultural Center, located in South San Francisco.  They perform traditional Basque folk dances as well as Basque folk dances with contemporary modifications.  The Zazpiak Bat Dancers regularly perform at the festivals at the San Francisco Basque Cultural Center in February and August, at the June Basque Picnic of the San Francisco Basque Club, at the Fall Basque Picnic of the Iparreko Ibarra Basque Club (Rocklin, CA) and at most of the summer conventions of the North American Basque Organizations.   The director is Valerie Arrechea.
